Not sure that ur question is understood.Do u have to pass emissions testing in ur state/province?If so,u have to keep ur factory emissions devices intact including ur catalytic converter. If u dont have emissions testing where u r,then anything and everything goes. For the 2600i u will need to retain ur o2 sensor as that is hooked to ur computer and inputs into ur FI system. In addition, some states/provinces look under the hood and non-factory carbs, etc.will not pass. Also some places have noise ordnances that will not pass loud mufflers and missing cats.Just depends on where u r .BJ

Bump: Quick example: I live in a Tennessee County that has emissions testing and visual inspections. My 2200 has a cam,a Weber,a Magnaflow cat and a Flowmaster 40-not exactly ur stock setup. It passed emissions and visual both because it is tuned to within an inch of its life, does not pollute and what little noise it produces did not trigger the inspectors db meter. You can have performance and pass inspection but u have to work at it.( But SHE did give me a big smile when she opened the hood-ah that minitruck mystique.Lol).BJ
