I have a 2600i,and noone makes a header,so I was thinking maybe I could have a flange cut to fit my head, and get a header for a 2000-2200 and cut the flange off,and weld the 2600i flange on....Anyone know if the exhaust ports are anywhere close to matching? I dont think it would work, would like to have a header though

don't know about this for sure, but i've heard that the 2600 engine is similar to the dodge/chrysler conquest 84-89, so you might could look into that.....also there was someone on here about a week or so ago that was gonna make some up, i believe it was or is the same person that has sold some on e-bay every now & then... i'll try to find the post...

b2600i are mazda motors, no where close to a dodge/mitsu engine. the mitsu engines were only used untill 88 then mazda made thier own engine.

True Valiant... The exhaust on those "earlier" models was on the opposite side, passenger.

well, that's not the first time i was off, & probably won't be the last

if he doesnt' get back with you on those, summit offers prebent header tubes, cut your flange, and weld up a set.
