Transmission Problem

Hi guys. went out today and got a transmission for my 91 mazda B2200. its been imported from japan. ive noticed a few problems.

1st question. Will the bellhousing need to be changed? it doesnt look like it lines up with my engine block...(is that even possible?)


Second Question. What the hell are these? and where would i wire them to?



Third Question. What are these wiring connections?



I need help here guys... i need to get this truck running asap for work.

ok, so ive discovered a few things. All those round things (with the weird connections) are the O/d cancel solonoid, and the kickdown solonoid. Also the 2 connections are the neutral safety switch. (normally a single connection on US models)

Now my only remaining question is: Can the bell housing be swapped over? it appears to be 6 bolts holding the bellhousing on. any info would be greatly appreciated.

could be possible that it was bolted up to a diesel motor? just a guess, but i see tones of deisel trucks over there.

Is your engine out of the compartment? I would try and see about hooking the two up out of the truck. Go slow and see what spacing you have for fitment. If nothing lines up, you know it does'nt work!

My .02.... but from what I can tell, it looks right for a 89-93 truck. Thats the same bolt pattern, etc. for my truck...

my engine has 2 braces that go from the side of the block to the botom holes of the tranny. this one doesnt have those holes. i measured the holes with the engine in the truck, and they dont line up. Im picking up my old transmission tommorow, so I will see if the bellhousing can be swapped over, everything else looks similair, except for the openeing. i'll find out tommorow and let everyone know.
