im in the process of completely rebuilding my 2.2, with that i am going to order a weber carb and i have a set of pace setter's to put on as well...
im looking to get rid of any emissions parts possible, we dont have any tests to pass in montana so that isnt concerning me. do i have to leave any besides the one coming from the distributor to the carb?
what model werber should i get, i have a larger cam and slightly bored over but otherwise the engine will remain stock.
i know this emissions thing has been pounded into the ground but all i can find is mixed information. lead me in the right direction...

Instructions come with Webers telling u how to hook it up and what u need.I am running a cammed 2200 with the 34 and no emissions hook ups and mine passed TN inspection; emissions and visual. It is all in how the truck is tuned and maintained I think.A well tuned truck with a Weber should be able to pass an emissions test.If u have no inspection u are way ahead of the game.Get rid of all ur emissions crap-which means ur passenger side fender well should be clean except for the fuse box over there .U have to keep it or truck wont run.I kept the black charcoal cannister as well cause without it I was getting a fuel smell in the truck. It vents ur gas tank.BJ
