i have noticed on some of mazda b2000s that i have they didnt have a pilot bushing ..i am wondering if i realy need one or does it not matter .. what is the purpose for one on mazdas

it keeps the front of the input shaft from moving around and breaking or waring out

haynes manual doesnt even mention it i jus pput my motor in and runs mint nd no vibrations u think it will b ok or should i pull it out nd put one in

i have the bearing that presses into the back of the crankshaft but i dont have that coper bushin that slides on to the end of the trans mition spindle

yea i used a sealent ok so its an either or thing either u use a bushing or a bearing i have a bearing witch is pressed into my crank but wasent sure if i need a bushing too
