High idle

My truck used to idle at just between 500-1000. Well I haven't driven it for like 2 months and now its idleing just above 1000. Sometimes when I put it in gear and sit it well idle higher. Any idea what the heck is wrong.

Come on, I know someone has to have a little bit of input.

If it is the stock Nikki carb,the idle adjust is a gold colored hex head screw on the passenger side of the carb.Turn counterclockwise to slow idle down.Truck should idle at 750 rpm at operating temp.There are several solenoids on the carb (kick up for trucks with air,fast idle for cold starts,etc).U will need to check them with a voltmeter to se if they are operating properly.BJ
