i hear everyone sayin they have pace setter header so i looked it up and it says manual only so will it work with my auto or do i need top look somewhere else also what do you guys do about air intake and exhaust?????

It will work but u may have to flatten the last pipe a tad to clear the A/T bell housing flange-no biggie.Air intake-chuck the stock Nikki carb and get yourself a Weber-best mod u will ever do-helps power and mileage. On the exhaust side,go with 2 1/4 inch pipe with a MagnaFlow cat and Flowmaster 40 muffler and do whatever u want on the terminal end of the exhaust.Others on here will have other suggestions depending on what they have done.I have the above set-up and my 2200 runs great.I have done the exhaust mods on my 2600i and it runs and sounds great as well plus I am getting 28 mpg-would not have believed that myself.BJ

make a short ram intake with a lil cone filter on the end...... not sure what the engine bay of a 2600i looks like but it should easy.

makin a short ram intake aint gonna do anything but add more ound to the truck... if you make a short ram intake you need to figure out a way to block the filter off from the engine compartment so that the filter is only gettin cold air...
phatkix   +1y
yeah that would be a cold air intake, not a short ram
lowblownranger   +1y
actually most cold air the air filter aint even in the engine compartment....

all what i described before would be a sheilded short ram...

Here is a engine bay pic,I just put a cone filter on the end of the maf on the stock intake, and blocked off the resonator box on the intake..As far as header good luck,Im not sure if anyone even makes one for the 2600i,there was a guy on here making them, but I dont know what happened about that..I did also move my iat sensor from the intake manifold and put it in the intake pipe for a better reading of the incoming air, gives a little better throttle response..Not a whole lot you can do,but I think the 2600i is pretty good power wise compared to other 4cylinder trucks...
