20 days! I hope you have everything... talk to v8mazda4ever, i think he has swap instructions, plus do a lot of research on the site, there have been many many posts

20 days! , you'll first have to gut the trucks engine bay, and majority of the cab, once that is done, your gonna have clearance issues at the firewall because of the dizzy on the back of the bowtie and clearance issues with the tranny hump......i'd cut the hump out, then set the engine/tranny bolted together into the engine bay, and look to see what & how you'll go about clearancing the firewall, and pull it back out, clearance the firewall, the put it back, this time so you can locate the engine/tranny mounts, once you have that done & it bolted in, you can stitch'r back together, ie tranny hump, and w/e else you have to modify to get it in.....

good luck & keep us posted!

"Anyone built an airplane in a week and flown it across the ocean?"

Where the heck is McGiver when you need him? That guy could fix anything with a broken toothbrush.

HELP asked

Why are you making this harder for yourself than you have to? Assuming you have a running truck right now:

TIPS requested

Your school preparation is a higher priority than major reconstruction of a toy.

TRICK approach to low-buck professionalism and results.

If "wyotech" is a technical school, with all of the wondergizmos a technical school has to offer, you are going to avoid a real panic parade if you methodically pack for the relocation, and use the running truck you have right now, to carry your new engine and transmission with you to the school, where you are going to have technical expertise, tools, and time to do the job without freaking over the little issues that will cripple you as you watch your time evaporate between now and your moving DEADLINE.

yea i wouldent rus it if its your first engine swap...it can be done in twenty days it can probably be done in 2-3 days if you have every part that you will need and the expeience to make it happen...my susgestion...buy a trailer and haul that engine to wyotec..it will make a good class project.
