my catalytic converter that comes off the manifold is stopped up, do i realy need to replace it with another one? or would i be ok to just cut it off and put new exhaust to a flowmaster, also there is no emissions testing were i live so im not woried about that

you'll be alright w/o it, probably better off as far as i'm concerned, that is what caused my engine to die @ a youthfull 160k miles lol!
i would suggest getting an inline hi-flo cat just to be visually safe & install it infront of the muffler of your choice.....if t-dot or al-dot pull you over & you aren't running one, they might give you a ticket......

will the truck run bad or will it be realy loud? i am running a single inlet dual outlet flomaster and dumping it before the axle

nah, the cat, just filters the exhaust, reducing some of the hydrocarbons......as far as affecting the engine, it should wake
it up a little as you are unrestricting the flow of exhaust. if you
don't have emissions testing, i'd get a weber & a header.....but none
the less, if you just remove the cat & run a new pipe, make sure to
put a new 02 bung on it so you can put the o2 sensor back on, otherwise
if your still running the stock carb, it will affect the engine operation...
as far as being loud, it shouldn't affect it too much, bout the same, maybe
a decibel or two more....
