probe turbo motor swap?

ok so i was planing on doing an fe3 swap, but i just had a turbo probe fall into my lap.

i want to pull the probe motor, have it rebuilt then put it in my truck, i plan to use megasquirt and ford EDIS to run the motor. my question is what all mods do i need to do to the motor? i've looked through several topics on here and found a few things but i was hoping i could get some more info.

i have read that i will need to rotate the turbo 90 or 180 degrees, and also use a different coolant hose inlet on the top as well as make a cover plate to go over the distributor mount. is there anything else?

also i saw somewhere that a miata tranny might bolt to the "f" blocks, is this true?

All miata trannies bolt to b blocks only, unless you change the bell housing then you get better ratios.

I never thought of MS + EDIS for a probe motor, that would make it way more do able.

has anyone on here actually completed this swap?
