Ok,

So i've got a 92 b2200...

I bought it over a year ago, I seen it running for about 5 seconds before I bought it and ripped it apart...

Apparently it was smokin like a chimney before I bought it... Yeah typical mazda.

Now, i've been trying to find a JDM motor to replace it, but the chance of that is not to easy to come by really.

So... either I wait it out to find a JDM one...... Or I rebuild the one I have already.

Im not a motor guy at all, but what would you guys recommend... if I was to rebuild it what would that require? how much $ am I looking at? etc...

Thanks!

I had mine rebuilt and when I took the head and block to the machine shop to make sure everything was flat and not warped and have the cylinders honed out they ordered me a rebuild kit.

No motor swap... sticking with a stock motor.

i just rebuilt the motor in my 91 about a year ago still sitting with less then a 100 miles on it. but cost me right around 700 to rebuild it with all the machine work and parts but i had to get a new crank cause mine couldn't be polished or turned. if you were closer i would sell you mine cause i'm thinking about swappind a 302
