alright i put a new master cylinder on my truck and had the brakes blead, everything was fine until i noticed that my rear passenger side drum was leaking brake fluid, the brake lines are not leaking on it, it leaks around drum, how do i fix it?

wheel cylinder is bad....., you'll have to pull the drum, and replace the wheel cyl....if you havn't had a rear brake job in a while, now would be the time to do it.

yeah it hasnt had a brake job in a while

you can get the wheel cyl for @ $30 from auto zone, and a new set of brake shoes about the same $$.....if you don't have one, i'd suggest getting an impact driver (screwdriver that you hit w/ a hammer) to get the screw that holds the drum on with loose.....they can be a booger to get out, and tend to strip the heads easily....

will i have to bleed the brakes cause i had a shop do it last time when i put exhaust on, so i dont know how to bleed them

bleeding the brakes is easy have some one pump the brakes three times then hold them to the floor crack open the zerk fitting let it spit tighten the zerk back down and have them pump the brakes again 3 times ...repeat this process until no more air come from the zerk fitting ...you want solid fluid

what does the zerk fitting look like ive never messed with brakes before

the little nipple on top of this end link bushing is a zerk

if you haven't messed with brakes before, i'd say let a shop do it, cause changing the rears can be a pain in the wazoo.....oh, you would need to get the drums turned, or buy new ones if they are too warn...
