Shaking

Wow, I havn't been on here for awhile. Since my last post, I have had my Carb rebuilt, and that solved my rough idle issue.

But now I have an equally bad problem. Lately, my truck starts shaking badly at around 25 mph. It dosn't shake at speeds slower or faster than 25, only at 25 mph.

Has anybody had this problem before? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Check if all the spark plugs are firing.
While idling, pull one spark plug at a time and see which one has no effect on idle.
Pull the spark plugs and do a compression test on all 4 cylinders and compare results.
If compression numbers are all good and close to each other, could use a tune up.

in any gear or only one gear....could has anything else changed, like have you pulled your driveshaft, are there and bulges on the tires, are the u joints OK..

sounds like something could be off balance. that's prime off balance tire speed.

My truck was shakin between 25 and 30 mph and i heared a clank noise ,I replaced the front ujoint and took care of the problem. ujoints are cheap i got mine for 10 buck at napa ( dont know how much you would have to pay my girl drives for napa so i get it at cost) hope this helps

My truck shakes at idle just sitting there and it also have a pretty good vibration from 45 to 55 mph. Not sure about the idle shakes, but I think my tires aren't balance for the 45 to 55 mph shakes.
