is this a stock rebuild or a 'performance'(i know its a mazda) rebuild?
i'm interested in 'performance rebuilding' my 2.2 one of these days, with a port/polish on the head, different valves, cam, M A Y B E bored just a little over and keeping my header and doing something with the exhaust.

Looks good though. really clean!

one other question, 75mm is that stock piston size?
nytrdr24   +1y
no, that kinda threw me off too, stock bore is 86mm, i did a +1mm (87mm) overbore on mine, which is .039" almost 40 over...

b22lvn, what did you mean by 75 mm???
b22lvn   +1y
im not sure now but the top of the piston says 75mm .the guy who did it said you dont really wanna go anymore then that.i think that mine is.39, now im not sure i was a little worried he wasnt doing what i wanted.he pretty much yesed me to death.

um im not sure if its stock size but getting to the port and polish head im doing that as well i told the guy whos doing it to go as big as possible without it being a problem

maybe it was 0.75mm, but then that would be 0.029.....?
