exhaust

i know alot of people are running flowmaster 40 series, but do they sound good? are there any videos or sound clips of one. hell any vids or clips of any exhaust would be great. im also lookin into a header, my manifold is gettin perdy bad. any where to get them cheap? thanks -bf

i got a DC sports stainless catback off a civic but if its a b2000 or 2200 its waisted w/o a header

I like Magnaflow personally. I haven't heard a Flowmaster on an import truck that sounded that great. But don't go by what people tell you, you wont be happy. Your best bet is to go to an exhaust shop. Most places will slip on different mufflers to let you see if you like the sound. If they wont do it, go somewhere else. Its usually the hole in the wall shops that do the best exhaust jobs anyways.

i had a magnaflow on mine at one point, but i got tired of hearing it, it was overly loud, good, but i was annoyed with it so a went and had a stock replacement oval shaped one put in, still makes noise but not as loud, it dumps off before the axle, but i did put in a dynomax on the daily driver 4runner, direct fit, and sounds sweet, little louder, just enough to know its there, and a really deep tone at 2 to 3000 rpms and not really noticeable inside at higher revs

Im running Flowmaster 40s on my 2200 and 2600I and Magnaflow cats.The 2200 is very quiet,the 2600i is a bit louder (actually quite a bit louder) but not obnoxious.BJ

I like the flowmasters too...but they are not stainless and usually last about 2 years....Magnaflows are too damn loud for my tastes, but the borlas are really nice, and so are the burns stainless mufflers.

what about the flowmaster 60s? ever heard one ona mazda. we need clips fellas

i was planning on a 40 series, but i think i might go with a hush power now.
