quick question

this is probably going to be a stupid question but is there supposed to be a gasget in the middle of these two parts.the reason im asking is b cause i bought a gasget set and there is not a gasget in there this section.://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t98/b22lvn/mazdapics071.://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t98/b22lvn/mazdapics073.

yeah, there should be a gasket,


toward the bottom of the pic, there is the oil pan gasket, right under it, is a u-shaped gasket, i'm pretty sure it, along with the second from the left on the next to the bottom row, goes on the oil pump....

there is no gasket for the oil pump- only o-rings for the oil passages. Just use some grey RTV to seal it up!

well i have a couple of o rings i dont quit now where they go so ill check tomorrow and get back to you.

another question at the bottom to the left of all the gasgets where does the big round one go i see no spot for it
