oh yeah, and my brother drove it for about a week before he somehow got air in my clutch line (2nd time he has done this) so me and a buddy had to bleed my master cylinder. and along with the air in the line, he returnd it with this smoke problem that he didnt tell me about.

sounds like your bro. rags on your truck as a big brother i would know absolutly nothing about that...well there was that one time lol...idunno how he got air in your cluth line thats pretty tricky to do!..the smoke..hard to say but its probaly one of the usual suspects..rings or valveseals..

good luck fan. I replace the valve seals on mine for the same problem, now it's worse then ever because the rings are bad! So to you man - the best of luck.

how much did it cost to replace the seals? how hard was it?

Don't know about cost. At the time I did it the only thing I paid for was some RTV sealant. I already had the seals from a head gasket set I used last summer. It wasn't hard at all, just took a little time. You need some means of holding the valves up if you are leaving the head on. You can put a hope in the spark plug hole and then rotate that piston to top dead or use an air compressor. I used air and like 20 psi. Didn't have any problems. Using air does have a chance of a valve dropping in and it does rotate the engine when you do it. I went that way tho so there wasn't shreds of rope in my cylinders.
