86 mazda the 2000 vacume line issue..

So I took the old 2.0 carb off replaced with a 2.2 and ripped all the vacume lines off... I mean all So now im going back to replace the distrbutor line and break breather Im assuming.. doesnt that one lead to the black can in the truck? Only one I am confused on.. I thought I could remove that black can..?

If u r talking about the black can on the passenger side fender well that is a charcoal canister that has a line coming from ur tank and a return line going into ur carb.U dont really need it,but u may smell gas fumes in ur truck from time to time if u remove it and dont plug the line coming from the tank.The vac line for the brake booster runs along the firewall and of course the dist.advance line runs from carb to dist.BJ

Ok soI ran the line from the distributor to the black like box electrical thingy and plugged the other line from the black lil box no starting do I have to run the hole vacume line from the dizzy throu out the truck? If this makes any scence pls help I tried staring at that diagram in lines on the forum but I just dont know wtf Im doing I guess... I will keep trying thou...

Anyone got a picture of whe the dizzy vacuume line goes to then the extra line into the black box go into? I cant tell on the carb line display in forum and I am having a rough time getting it going....

i am trying to figure out where that thicker black house from the dist. goes my buddy has an 86 b2000 would they be the same as my 87 b2200?
