Ok, soo i tuned my truck tonight, and it seems like im getting alot more power than i used to.. which is a good thing. and ive also seemed to stop my dieseling (it was acting up again), but i still get the flat spots too.
I put 2 and 2 together today. My Nikki did the same thing, but it bucked and sputtered...all my Weber makes my truck do is surge for a second, then it hits the powerband again. This musn't be a carb problem.
Im broke right now, gotta go to Sudbury for my school tour this weekend, so im gonna dink around with it when i get back.
Im checking/replacing the following when i get back..or not long after:
-Cap & Rotor
-Fuel Filter
-Fuel Pump
-Primary Cat [Exhaust is new other than manifold]
I mean..I have no computer anymore, or any emissions controls, so theres REALLY not a whole lot it could be.
On another note, For exhaust im now running a sealed factory header, to a magnaflow cat, too a cherry bomb...and my intake is a weber, nothing else...and it sounds fuckin tits. sounds kind of like my buddys 13b rx7 lol. just thought i would share.
