I just got a weber and Im ready to install it. I bought it from mazdaproject89 and got a good deal on it. I need to get some misc. bolts, screws, and a couple of gaskets. Im hoping I can find the gaskets I need at a local auto parts store. I also need to get a filter and clips for it or find an adapter to use a different filter. I might build a sheetmetal cover for it since I dont have inner fenders and drive mine daily. I dont want to sling water and dirt into the carb or filter.

I didn't get any instructions with it since I bought it used. I knew there were instructions on mazdatruckin so I was going to use those. My problem there is they say I need a fuel pressure regulator cause the B2200 and B2000 use a high pressure fuel system. Is this true? If so, where do I get a fuel pressure regulator that would work? I haven't seem anyone else using a FPR to install their webers.

also...if your worried about dirt, and water and what not you can buy remote filters for these carbs. if i can remember right NYTRDR24 had a remote filter with a 38 he was sellin?

Ah man! Hey, no worries! Get a DIY gasket sheet! Cut them all out, double them up, and buy Permatex sealant. It does'nt harden and is non-silicone based. I had a problem a while ago with my carb whistling through the gaskets. So the sealant worked GREAT!

Hit up Redline, they should have a rebuild kit for the carb. It will come with all the parts, but it will also have gaskets and an AIR FILTER! And refer to my techie for tuning! I want to know it was worth writing... lol!
