so here is my problem i fixed up the mazda finally that sat for two years. but for some reason it wouldn't run right. so i gave it a tune up and it still didn't help. so today i'm messing w/ it and i remove the two front spark plugs while running and it didn't change how it was running. so i figure that the front two cylynders arn't being used. so what do you guys think i should do?
new plugs, wires, airfilter, oil change, new antifreze new distributer cap and new distributer. thats it, but it hadn't ran before for almost two years
if the front 2 aren't doing anything... you need fuel, spark and compression for them to fire so your not getting something. your fuel could have gone bad after 2 years... did you flush the system? your carb might be clogged?
double check your plugs/wires/distributor by plugging them in to the wires and grounding them to a safe ground and have someone turn the engine over and see if they spark. if they dont spark work your way back to the distributor. make sure they're not wet with gas when you are pull them out maybe your flooding it?
you can test the compression too it should be above 100 at least... go from there.
