Is it a DGEV? Does it have an electric choke and if so is the choke hooked up.If not a DGEV does it have a manual choke and is it hooked up?BJ

Yes it has an electric choke and its hooked up. Wat could be the problem let me know.

i'd guess a fuel delivery issue. it obviously has spark, and probably gets air just fine, has compression...

check the float if the weber has been off awhile and banged around..it will loose the adjustment

i will post pics of the weber carb tommorow. And see if that helps a little bit

did it stall before you installed the carb? My truck won't idle when it's cold and it hesiate sunder 2000rpm. I replaced the EGR valve with a used one and that didn't help,so now I am about to install a Weber as well and see what happens.

Okay, it sounds like a float problem to me too... Look down the top of the carb. into the float to see anypresense of gas... Have someone crank the engine and watch the fuel to see if it does anything in the float.

If you want, you can pull the top off and check to see yor float is working right... I've got a pic. in my techie section you can look at to see if yours matches.

Check your fuel filters and fuel pump...

Is your choke opened all the way? Are you running the engine straight from cold-start? What happens when you hold the throttle higher than idle?

How does it run when it runs? All these questions should pin-point to one thing. The better you end up decribing your situation, the better we would be able to help!
