Hey guys i want to do a 5 lug swap and i want to run it off of a 350 if anyone can help with whats the best rear end to use with least mods if possible thanks,

toyota rear should hold up... if not... shorten a 10 or 12 bolt rear from a chevy...

Grab a ford 8.8 it will hold up to the power and from what I have read its a little shorter than the stock rear end

forgot to mention i need something that has the same bolt pattern as the ford aero star (im useing thoose hubs) thanks guys

I think the 8.8 out of a mustang is what your looking for then

do you have any details of the mustang? like year model e.g mustang lx or what ever thanks man

94 to 04 V8 mustang should all have a 8.8 with a 5 lug you can use a old fox body one but you will need to buy new 5 lug axles as long as its a V8 it should be a 8.8

or go with like a rear end from and explorer, not sure what year, but this way you can have 4 wheel disc brakes.... thats my plan anyway....

whats the difference between disk brakes on vehicles? i know the difference on a bike is it the same? better brakeing less problems?
