i took my bed off to begin the build up of my rear bags and stuff and im lookin at my gas tank and i dont recognize some of the "extra" tubes that come off of it from pics ive seen of other ppls relocated tanks.

what all is involved in relocating a stock gas tank? my truck is carbed and its a single cab 89. any help is much appreciated

buy more fuel line from an autoparts store and you're good to go. you have 3 lines running from the engine bay to the tank and another that's a vent. i think you know what to do with the latter.
follw the 3 lines from the tank to the engine bay, remembering which is which. one will be a fuel supply line, one will be a fuel return line and one will go to your charcoal canister. all that really doesn't matter, as long as you buy long enough fuel line and write down how you took it apart or take a picture to remind you, or something.... as long as you put things back as they are now, only with longer line, the world will be right again.

so i dont need the vent? what if i dont have a charcoal canister?

You need the vent. If the canister is gone, don't bother extending that line. Also, get some 18ga wire at the store to extend the fuel sending unit.
