I want A/C what do i need?

Whats up eveyrone. Its super hot now that its summertime. I wanna put A/C on my 86 B2000. can someone give me a list of parts i need? Has anyone here done this before? let me know. I know of a couple trucks in the junk yards that still have the A/C stuff still in them, but im not sure of everything i need to pull out of it. ANy kind of wiring i need to dO? can i just use the stock A/c switch out of the other truck and plug it into an connector on my truck?

if possible can someone list me a list of parts, and maybe some pics and info on what i need to do.

Here as well. I plan on doing the same thing.

U switch from the dash,the bracket and compressor,lines,evaporator,drier,longer fanbelt,the tthree groove crank pulley(if u have power steering),and the two coil radiator (5speed trucks and trucks without A/C have a one coil radiator), AND THE PROPER FUSE FOR UR a/c SLOT IN THE FUSE BOX.While u have the system down might as well flush it out and put the new type a/c fluid in it.BJ

not sure if that helps any. just thought i would share. i want A/C in my truck also, just not financially stable for it so i havent really looked researched to much.

Makes ir sound complicared but all Maz Bseries a/c were dealer installed so I bet there is someone out there with a 3-4 page how-ro manual that the dealers used.BJ

Lol, I still 'am begging people on here to get there A/C stuff.. It gets all the way up to the part of how much it cost to ship, then they quit pm'ing me, lol...

I have 88 B2200 with "factory" AC. Personally, I'd start with a new kit rather than patch together 20 year old parts. see

sweet. ive been looking for a kit like this. i was planning on ordering all new stuff for it. but if i could find a donor truck with ac that works i would just swap it over. but i do plan to go with new pats (unless i find that donor truck that is cheaper then all new ac parts)....
