Interesting Engine

Finally found some time to get back on BScene after the Slamology Show. Following pics are of an engine I wish I could have heard run - might have been interesting. Any thoughts on what kind of motor this is??

Maybe a 4 cylinder SOHC Chevy with a homemade intake of some sort? I only count rockers enough for a SOHC .Looks like someone did a bunch of very fine fab work.BJ

Dude if I am not mistakin that's Lenny Grover's truck. His truck is killer and I believe he did alot of the work himself.

Yep. Lennys. I still got the minitruckin when it was 1 solid color. Lenny Gruver has always been top notch with everything he touches.

how was the show,good turnout, approx. how many vehicles

Show was ok. Probably would have been a lot better if mother nature would have cooperated! Spectator attendance was low for a show of that size. There was probably 3-400 show cars and another 100 db drag entries.

Was wondering if the engine might be nothing more than a 2.5 L iron duke 4 cylinder. Which is basically 1/2 of a small block chevy. That might explaine some of the head work.

all i know is that is one sweet looking motor. i like the see in valve cover. that is some awesome work

just curious, any db drag pics? what was the loudest, what did they have?

Did not get to many db drag pics. Pioneer was there with 2 entries. Loudest reading I heard was 178.2 and I think that was from one of the Pioneer entries.
