As i pulled into work to day head poppedw ater is sitting in cylinder's 2 and 3.
She has been on her way out, smoke like all the time rings and oil seals. That was the reason the previous owner parked it. When i bought it i just threw it together and have been driving it for a few months constally finding shit wrong.

So i ordered a long block 2.0 it will be here friday.
$850 shipped

I tried searching mazdatruckin.com and can't find these questions.I also can't find anywhere that it says the blocks are exactly same.
Questions

Does the high volume oil pump from the 2.2 interchange to the 2.0?

The blocks are not 100% the same the 2.2 is different for the water pump and a few extra mounting holes. plus the deck hight is taller on a 2.2 then a 2.0 but a 2.0 will bolt in to a 2.2 truck. not sure on the oil pump the housings look allot alike but there are 2 different numbers for them.

I'd also like to know where this comes from, although im doing a motor swap, i think it would be nice to know. excellent price as well.

This might be a little off topic.

Dropped it, and lifted it again last week. I only dropped it for the Illconformity show.

Yeah darryl, its gonna be an Integra, or maybe an imported CR-X or something.

The motor is from untex out of texas.

Well i thought $850 was kinda low found out why.

The motor arrived fully assembled so i called them and they said that we ordered a low mileage motor.
First question
What do you consider low?
What is the warrenty?
What do i have to change to keep the warrenty?
how am i going to prove it?

His answers
40K miles
6months very limited
Water pump, oil pump, timing belt
Well we know david my boss he said it was for one of his guys.

My comments very limited, David the one i told to order a long block.
Thankz have a great fehn day.

Regardles i started looking at the motor
Timing belt is brand new and so is the spring tensioner. So i put the motor at TDC and check the timing marks sure enough the cam gear was put on wrong they put it on with the 2 mark pointing up.

Water pump pull the hard pipe on side of the block (two twelve mm bolts) you can see the fins on the water pump damn thing looks brand new.

The oil pans valley was toward the fron t by the pullies i assume it came of a front wheel drive maybe a 4wd.Replaced the oil pump put oil pick up an windage tray on and the pan off of my truck.

After i picked up my son i went back to the shop and drop the motor in put the header and AC compressor on.
Then my son was getting ancy so we went home i will probaly finish it sunday so i can have one of my bays back for monday.
