b2600 motor swap

i just picked up a 1987 standered cab b2600. the timing chain tenstioner broke. im trying to fix it. my buddy told me that a older mitsubishi car motor bolts up to that trany and its a turbo. i think its called a STARYION let me know please

you can buy my engine... and transmission... $1,000 or make offer... i've got 1200 in the engine. port and polished head, shaved the head also. 92-95 honda civic cold air induction, powerdercoated intake... transmission has a new clutch...

the b2600 and starion engines are the same other than the b2600 is carbed and starion is efi. Refer to these threads:

not to steal the thread, but is there any thing besides the 626 that will fit the B2K/ or 2200

so will a first gen eclipse turbo motor bolt up to a 2600i tranny??

i dont know, but a 4g63 bolts up to the carbed 2600 bellhousing from what ive heard.

sorry to bring back an old thread but I just found this link that shows what RWD trannys will bolt up to a 4g63 or 4g64 engine.

Not only the Starion but the Mistsu Conquest Tsi bolt up as d o some of the old K series Chrysler cars and vans-some with turbos>BJ
