wont start sometimes?

my truck runs fine but on certin days sometimes it turns over like normal but as soon as you let off of the key it it quickly dies, and it will do it and do it and do it untill you get lucky. any idea on what to do?? -bf

I'm pretty sure its your switch. If you mean by the position of your key and if it is'nt sitting in the right spot, it will die?

If you have free play in the ignition and you have to start getting it just right for the key to keep it on the "ON" position, its the switch...

Lol, and I suppose I'll have to include one of them in all that junk you want!

lol my key switch works perfect except i can take the key out while its running. great for on cold mornings when i crank the truck and forget i left something in the house.
