302 in a b2200

wht all do i need to put a 302 dwn in my truck. does any1 make a kit? hlep plz. i already have the motor.

wassup doc. i guess it would be the best thing for that tired 2200 of yours. dont know a thing about the swap though.

now to help you out....... depends on what motor your have.... yes i know its a 302 but from what car. the best one is the mid 80's to early 90 stang. the mounts from the ford will almost bolt right up to the stock motor mounts of yer truck. the trans crossmember will have to slide back bout 4 to 6" depending on what trans your using. you will need the yoke and universal out of the ford as well as some of the driveshaft (pm me for more info on that).

as far as making it run we need to know what exactly your running. FI or carb'd

i know some mounts use a horizontal bolt that goes through the motor mount and some of the 302 mounts up like our stock motors do
