pull the plug from the number one cylinder and stick a screw driver in it(but not all the wqay in.... just a couple inches, or let the hadle stop on the head... DO NOT LET IT GO ALL THE WAY IN!!!!!).... turn the crank (by hand) till the cylinder is all the way up (it will push the screw driver out of the hole).... this is called top dead center.... now pull the cap off of ur distributor.... the point i believe should be facing the 9 o' clock position as ur at it from the driver side of the truck.... also if u have done anything with the timing belt, while the engine is at top dead center, the came gear should be lined up a certain way... i think the is a small tab on the head that needs to line up with the A on the pulley.... or an arrow... hmmm.... i dont remember that part... all of wut i have said is in a haynes manual or a factory service manual..... i might be a lil wrong cause i havent timed a b2200 in like a year or so.... hopefully i helped a lil bit
