There too many mufflers to choose from so im asking for opinions. For starts ive heard that the magnaflow high flow cats are good to use so i think im getting one of those and for the muffler im looking for something thats kinda deep that you can hear and a little bit in the cab but you dont have to yell at the passenger while having a conversation. im debating on something like flowmaster 40s or an import exhaust like a fart can. what are you guys running on your trucks??

i have the magnaflow high flo cat, and a stock muffler, im shortening it by 6 inches to make it a lil deeper but it has a nice tone right now under heavy throttle, the flowy will be way annoyingly loud..

what about some sort of magnaflow muffler

to me magnaflow has the best sounding exhaust, i worked at a truck accessory shop and mag to me is best....

hey marcus i would be a little leary of shortening your muffler. most companys do flow test and sound tests and if you mess with the length you can corrupt the flow pattern of the muffler.

there is a 6 inch baffle in it right in the middle, so im taking it out for a different tone, i did it to my toyotas stocker and it sounded flawless.

what magnaflow muffler would you suggest?? is there anywhere i can hear them on the net because i went to their site and it doesn't have a sound clip like flowmaster site does. i heard a sound clip of a flowmaster 40 on mazda b2200 on you tube and its not the sound im looking for. i want more of a import sound since these are imports. i like the sound to be deep

I would recomend the flowmaster 40 series got it on mine and it sound great and it has that deep growly raspy sound i personally love it
