Alot of you seem to really know your stuff on here, so I figured I may as well ask a few questions.
So , I have a high mileage 89 b2200 thats giving me hard time. To start the truck I need to pump the crap out of it and then hold it to the floor untill it warms up, even when floored it maybe gets to 1300 RPM (when cold). then it seems to idle fine and the throttle response seems fine (will rev right up), but as soon as i put it in drive it bogs out and loses all power. Can't get it to move past about 30 km/h but the tranny seems to shift perfect. The timing is dead on, so I replaced plugs, cap, rotor, wires, carb (weber), and the truck has no cats. The engine doesn't smoke at all, so I figured the compression should be fine (still don't have a tester ). now I am at a loss!
any help would be appreciated, Thanx
