b2200 in a b 2600 truck

i might be getting a b22 and was wonderin if the motor mounts will work in the b26 and what i have to do to the tranny so i can use the b26 trany and rear end for the higher gearing

The b2200 motor will go in just swap the motor mounts. Youll have to use a b2200 transmission because the b2600 transmission will not bolt up to the 2.2 motor. The rear ends are basically the same just different gear ratios.

cant you bolt the bell housing off the b22 to the b26 in the place of the b26 bell housing and have it work
