so im going to take my truck over to my roommates moms house
because she has a pretty much empty three car garage except for my roommates bmw 325 thats been sitting for a few years.

now the original plan was to take the truck over there for a week or two and bodydrop it, but my roommate brought up to me the other day that he has no need for the bmw anymore, it has body damage and needs a new top.

so we got to talking and i think the plan now is to get the bmw six cylinder into the mazda, along with a few other parts, what do you guys think?

Your in for a nightmare in wiring.I had a E36 m3 that got stolen and totalled.I too thought it would be an awesome idea.. Did a lil research and it just wasnt worth it to me.If its an E30 It might be a lil easier..Just my .02

i figured the wiring would be a horrid mess,
but since i have the whole car at my disposal im thinking of using the original wiring for the bimmer along with the computer and dash.
i know its going to be alot of work if i do it, but hell why not.

do it! you'd need to swap all the BMW wiring over (as you already know) do the 02 sensors and everything. keep the motor stock and it'll be easier tho... i mean don't remove smog stuff and bust out with headers and stuff like that. K.I.S.S.
it'd be badass!!

it would definitely be a stock swap. if im starting with eighty horses in stock mazda trim, i figure i should be more than happy with the bimmers one sixty some odd horses stock.

Sounds like two screwed up cars and one frustrated owner are on the way.
