My friend wants me to paint his s-10 for an 1995 LT1, 700r4 and wiring harness. I do need an ECU. The water pump leaks a little bit.....how typical. I have a 10 bolt rear kickin' around. This would be the ultimate driving machine. This is somthing that I am seriously considering. This isn't my first rodeo, its pretty cut and dry what needs to be done. What I would like to know is what kind of rear end set ups are being run in the v8 mazdawgs. I want to find a rear end that doesn't need to be shortened, if at all possible. Is there any other hidden costs involved? If I do end up running a 10 bolt rear, what kind of set up can I run to make a 5 lug in the front? This would be a fair tade if you ask me. I don't want a ton of money into this truck, and if this swap is going to be a money pit, I'll take the motor and tranny and find an early 90s s10.
