Sportage engine - anyone know what this is?

I found a DOHC Kia engine from an '04 Sportage GSL at a local used engine co. It is listed as an FE 22 2799. Anyone know what this is? Are all Sportage DOHCs FE3s?

I think thay changed the Sportage motor in 01 or 02 so Im not sure that one will work.

post a photo of it, and we can tell you. i just had a search around, and i think its 98 - 02, but possibly 95 - 02
