i was on another site and there was a post that said power and as we all know our mazda motors really dont have the power to get out of its on way so i looked in the post this kat said to make power swap the mazda single cam head for a kia sportage dohc head he said it bolts right on to the 2.0 motors i was wondering if you guys have ever heard of this or tryed it

where did you read this, i'd like to go and correct it.

the kia/fe3 head has WAY different oil returns from the head.

it certainly doesnt bolt on.

you can bolt it on however by cutting and building the oil returns into the block and welding it all up, then having it surfaced, but its a bad idea unless you just cant get the kia engine

the normal fe/f2 bottom ends are inferior anyway as they have smaller weaker rods, and no oil squirters, not to mention significantly less beaf.
