weber carb

i want to put one one but i dont know anything about them. i found some on ebay.


K675 Weber 34/34


K675 Weber 32/36


both of thoes are brand new. one is 250 with shipping and one is 300 wiht shipping. but i have no idea what the numbers mean. 34/34 and 32/36. what does that mean? and what is better? i'm guessing 32/36 is because it costs more.

so can someone helf me and explain this stuff? and tell me if those prices are good?

those numbers are the size of the primary and secondary bowls on the carb. the size you choose depends on what you ahve done to the engine or what the plans are for. i have the 32/36 little bit smaller than the 34 but ill drive the truck daily. gives me descent power but i still get some mpg's. 34 gives a little more power range but less mpg's and so forth for the 38 outlaw. and remember you can always rejet the carb for a little more or little less flow. hope this helps you out some.

those prices are about right. and you will get mixed opinions on used carbs. i wouldnt buy one but alot of people would.

I've had the K675 Weber 32/36 for just over two years, and like it, on my '88 B2200. I changed because I was have idling issues, and B-Series are tough to diagnose ECU v. carb problems, so not easy or cheap to fix. Do a search, I seem to have read on some of these Mazda boards that the 34 kits may have throttle cable or other issues, but maybe I'm wrong.

Im gonna order one of those kits real soon the $250 one the price is right i think i paid around $50 for the adapter to put it on my other mazda...i got a used carb for $75 and it ran out fine. I just cant find another at that price so im just gonna go new this time.

I'm doing the weber swap after the first of the year. I don't trust used carbs. I wanna buy it new, and in a complete kit so its all there.

Meto only reason last time was i knew the guy and if it didnt run he would make it right. I can say that when i did the last one i had to do some port work in the intake because the adapter didnt line up for chit....i just got in and cleaned it up so it flowed nice.

i read somewhere that the 34/34 isnt a real weber but rather a knock off. if you look at the parts on the 34/34 there should be other names besides weber where as the 32/36 is all weber named parts. i saw a picture of this somewhere.
