I know that all the smog stuff i can take off the pass fender but i want to trim it down some more I know i need the relay box but what about the rest?

Do you have a weber carb? I tucked all my electrical suff under the battery tray, had to extend a few og the wire but the inner fender looks really clean.

mine is an 89 b2200 also and after i put my redline carb on, i disconnected the computer and the only thing that didn't work was the wipers. find which wire runs the wipers and you can get rid of all the other crap after you install a weber or redline carb.

Yea if your sticking with the stock carb I would leave it but if you go to a weber then like Maztang said find the wires for the wipers and remove the rest

I did a Weber but left the computer box connected and in place (passenger firewall). My wipers didn't kick the bucket.

Yes we will be going with a weber. I just have a few little plug in things left on that side and i want to skin down the wiring on that side. Thanks, Craig

Best advice I can give would be to pick up a Haynes or other brand shop manual that has wiring diagrams in it. Both of my trucks have webers and both of the computers are nailed to the wall of the garage. There is a ton of wiring that can be removed if you trace the colors. In the area of the battery there is several relays that are fed from the drivers side wiring (horn specifically).
