is it kinda in the middle of the engine near the firewall? cuz if it is, its leaking really bad and getting to work is gonna be a bitch

yep what he said but there are 3 water lines back there 2 for the heater core and a water pipe right behind the head check those really good. There is also a metal pipe to that could be rusted out.

well its leaking somewhere from the back of the engine near the firewall. and the leak is to big for Stop Leak, i tried. this is gonna be a bitch to find.

could it be the head gasket? it over heats after about 10 miles. and thats in the morning when its completly cold. i'm just not sure how to tell

you have water lines running back there. could be the head gasket but check your lines first man.

might be a freeze plug

i'm really hoping its the water lines. this morning i went and filled up the radiator cuz i knew it lost water overnight and the water started dripping from the back. i think this was before i started my car but i'm not 100% sure. i'll check for sure tomorrow. but it it drips when i fill it up in the morning (not starting the truck, cold engine) does that mean that its a hose and not the head gasket?

HEY MAN PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ALL BRANDS OF STOP LEAK..... IT WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS THEN GOOD.... WILL SLOW THE FLOW IN THE RADIATOR DOWN.... CAN CAUSE THE WATER PUMP TO FAIL DUE TO BUILD UP ON THE TURBINE INSIDE THE PUMP.... CAN MAKE THE THERMOSTAT MALFUNCTION..... CAN ALSO STOP UP THE HEATER CORE..... I WORKED IN A RADIATOR SHOP FOR 3 YEARS... REPLACED SEVERAL RADIATORS, HEATER CORES, WATER PUMPS, THERMOSTATS.... ALOT OF WHICH WERE FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO STOP THEIR LEAKS WITH STOP LEAK..... AS FAR AS THE LEAK HOPE ITS AN EASY FIX....
