Has anyone had any experience with a Sliptank?

Half of it is a gas tank, for filling machinery, and the other half is for putting shit into, like tools or what have you (beers). Has anyone ran one?...Has anyone ran one as a PRIMARY fuel source? Meaning replacing your tank for a sliptank?

Im kind of interested in this, being that I am building my deck and what not.

Canada is really getting effed as far as gas prices go. I get charged $1.10 per liter, which works out to over $4 per gallon.(1.10x3.78) meanwhile, i can go to Minnesota and get it at around $.70 a liter ..which is around $2.60 per gallon. RAPE!

Filling up a 60 Gallon Slip-Tank in Ontario
60 Gallons
Multiply by 3.78
=226.8L
x1.10
= $249.48

Filling up a 60 Gallon Slip-Tank in Minnesota
60 Gallons
Multiply by 3.78
=226.8L
x0.70
= $158.76

Right off the bat, Im almost saving $100 per 2500km or so...so by about 5 months it would pay itself off just in fuel savings.

The only real issue I could see is the sending unit, having an accurate reading and what not..anyone have ideas?? Whats everybody think about this? In my personal opinion, It should be fine as long as all the vent lines are connected like OEM? There isn't really a whole lot behind our tanks.

thats pretty sick man, even on a lowrider mini truck but about how it should react id say just run it like the stock tank, same lines and everything it should work like the tank you have now, and yea saving the money and paying itself off would be sweet bro. i say go for it, but thats just my 2 cents

My grandpa has one of these on his F250 as a secondary tank connected to a switch so he uses 2 tanks. All that extar fuel weight is going to kill power and fuel economy on our trucks in my opinion anyways. My granpas F250 got 8mpg in its lightest and heaviest forms but I think it will be different when it comes to a mazda.

Try here I have one of the stock replace tanks in my ford f350 it now holds 58 gallons fill that thing up and it hurts. I have been to the transfer flow plant and it is a top notch place.
