cooling system hoses

i'm replacing all the hoses in my cooling system. is there anyway to tell if a hose is part of the cooling system or do i just have to take on end off and see/smell? and also, does anyone know about how many hoses i'm gonna be replacing? thanks

i think i found the leak!!! but i'm not shure yet..

uPPER AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSE,two heater hoses,a small bypass hose just underneath the thermostat housing,and the hose from radiator to coolant overflow bottle if u r going to get them all.That hose u showed looks like a heater hose.BJ

try taking that P.O.S. clamp off and use a real hose clamp.... will probably fix the problem

ya it was the clamp. it wasn't the hose i showed but a different one. it burst because of the clamp. i think its all fixed now
