ok im gonna pick up some stuff to do the swap but my question is that since i have a ex cab, do i have to get a 5 speed b2200 tranny from another ex cab? or can i use a standard cab 5 speed b2200 trans also?

and i think i got everything....trans clutch pedal assembly, mass cil. hard lines

Yea there the same but you will need the drive shaft out of a ex cab.

so my exsisting auto ex cab drive shaft wont connect to the 5 speed trans?

check the length the auto tranny and 5 speed I think are different lengths. Which will make the drive shaft to long or to short. I might be wrong so check it out while your there.

No the auto trans extension housing is longer so the shaft is shorter. I have done the swapped and I just had a a new shaft made because you cant replace the u-joints if there bad. Mine were bad so thats what I did. I had a solid one piece aluminum shaft with replaceable u-joints made. It shaved about 35lbs or so off and gave more power to rear wheels. I think it was worth it.
