Are the weber 32/36 carbs smog legal in California?? and if so how hard is it to rebuild a stock Mazda carb and if it will even be worth it? Thanks guys

You could probably keep all the emmisions crap hooked but it would take some finagling. The stock carb isnt hard to rebuild. It would be easier to do that then run the weber and figure everything out for the emmisions I think.

Well that eliminates that idea. I was told by a buddy of a place called Carb Factory in Sacramento that will rebuild them to specs for a decent price. I have rebuilt carbs before just dont really wanna mess with it, if it is anything like a toyota carb. haha
