the T looking piece that the intake tubes are hooked too and cai would i use if i removed it completely. its on a 92 b26
Im not sure what your trying to ask?
If you want to remove that T piece I guess you could use a piece of tubing the same size. It serves no purpose to remove that other than to make the intake sound louder.
i was wondering what cold air intake i could use just to replace the air filter box and all cause there is a hole in the t shaped piece on my truck and it is sucking way to much air
too much air...impossible
a friend told me i didnt need it and just take it off and the box it goes to and remove it and replace with i str8 pipe
if to much air is impossible then why does the motor die down when i unhook the the tube from the throttle body or hit the gas hard the engine dies down but when i slowly depress the throttle it doesnt do it my civic does the same thing when i hit the gas hard on it but not when i press it slowly.
its a intake muffler makes the intake quieter i would take it off since u got an after market intake u wanna hear it
yes thats all it is is a muffler to quite the intake down. i took the one of my old crx the first day i got it. air comes rushing in and goes in to that box and gets all mixed up and flows like dick.
