new truck.. new problem...

Alright. bought it it tryed starting idled for a sec. with starting fuild..... has old bad gas....... i took off a line. and see if gas would shot out and none came out? should i drop the take and take off the carb and clean both out? the other truck been sitting for 6 years. and replaced the carb it fired right up.....

have you checked the fuel pump?

ya does it have an electric or manual pump on it for the year it might have either one.

if fuel lines attatch to the back of the head...its manual guel pump. change filter. test pump, change pump anyway, its cheap. lol.

Yaya if its mech. then just change it anyway. They aren't expensive...

well since its not EFI. i would say manu pump.. there two line behide the carb. then the filter. ill look up prices. new fuel pump and filter is a good start lol.
