So....I have searched and not found much info...question.....my 93 Mazda runs pretty good, I dont care much about the weak motor...its slow...its a minitruck, Im cool with that ( a quicker toy is why I have an Integra ). Anyway....are there any aftermarket bolt on options for the factory carb, to add an after market air cleaner? And the 3 hoses running up from the exhaust man...can they simply be cut and crimped\capped down near the exhaust man? All I am really looking for is a cheap cleaner engine bay. Yeah, I will eventually probably do a weber\header install but I am looking at something I can do right now that is cost effective and doesnt hurt the engine or the way it runs.

I gotta say, miss the B2600I I once had, a Honda Civic ebay cold air intake installed backwards worked like a charm and looked great!

First question u need to answer is do u have smog inspections where u live and drive. If so,dont screw with the air cleaner and fac carb set up unless u go Weber and retune the truck.U will never pas inspection. If u dont have smog rules to pass u can do pretty much whatever u want .No aftermarket setup, but guys on here are pretty clever in fabbing up some cleaner looking setups.Somebody will chime in Im sure.BJ

My buddy put an aftermarket air cleaner on his. Had to make an adapter so it would fit snug on the carb and in the filter. Made the truck run like crap and took alot of adjusting to get it running somewhat decent. If it was me I probably wouldnt do bother with it and just wait to get the weber.

thanks both of you....I know the stock motor can be made to look decent, clean it, some paint etc....ill hold out I guess as I drive this thing daily and want to maintain the reliability.
