I have a 89 laid out on stockies right now. I was woundering what is the offset needed to lay out on 17s or 18s. I have the 4x4 fenders if that helps at all.

ive got a 5" backspacing on mine and im really close to rubbing the lip on the fender, i just went and rolled the lip anyways,

the perfered back spacing is 5.5" but u can do 5" too if your running 4x4

yes, thats like on a 8inch wide wheel....if u get a 9inch wide wheel, you'll have turning probs and gonna need 6inches of backspacing

What does that come out to in mm so I can do a search for wheels?

Thanx for all the help by the way.

On a 7 inch wide wheel, 5.5 inches is 38mm. On a 7.5 inch wide wheel, 5.5 inches is 32mm. Hope that helps.
