how much cutting is involved in bagging the front of a mazda, and what needs cutting

Not much really.. i took out the sway bar and the torsion bars.. had to grind down the hump on the lower controll arm to mount the lower plate, and then welded the top part of the torsion to the frame rail. The bigger the bag.. the more lift you get, but also the more work and cutting involved.

dude if you are going to drive the truck often you need to cut everything off the frame until you have just the flat rail there(bumpstops/mounts, and that hump below the shock tower) or else the bag will rub.

and MAKE SURE you plate the frame with a piece of 3/16" because the bracket WILL break off the lovely 1/8" mazda frame

ive never seen anyone keep the swaybar b/c its in the way of the bag however if you were a badass you could take it off and maybe bend it and build a new mount for it, im thinking of doing this
